We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to help drive the North American Commercial sales team to achieve revenue targets by facilitating external engagements through lead generation and qualification, booking transactional customer orders, and supporting various sales efforts. The successful candidate will have a background in remote sensing and/or geospatial technology combined with a passion for helping customers and a strong desire to grow as a sales professional. This role is based in Broomfield, Colorado or Remote.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead qualification - Work with new and existing customer leads, taking detailed notes of customer focus and requirements, then digging into budget and timeline to qualify/disqualify. Work with Senior Account Managers as appropriate for additional technical qualification support needed
  • Inside Sales- Respond to incoming custom quote requests, both on the Commercial and Educational front, seeing all transactional business through the complete sales cycle
  • Support Senior Account Managers with sales campaigns and prospecting, opportunity generation, and other needs as defined by NA Sales Manager
  • This is a quota-carrying role as part of the NA sales team and contributes to the commercial business revenue target.
  • Responsible for accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting across all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Represent the company at industry events including trade shows, conferences, and other venues.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Geology, Remote Sensing, Environmental Science, Geography or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years in customer-facing role either in sales, customer support, or consulting.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
  • Prior work or focus on remote sensing, geospatial, or GIS product and solutions sales.
  • Understanding product offerings and how those can fill customer solution gaps is the key to being successful in this position
Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Strong familiarity and experience working with satellite or airborne (manned or unmanned) imagery, SAR, and LiDAR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Geology, Remote Sensing, Environmental Science, Geography or equivalent experience.
  • Trained on solutions sales methodologies
  • Familiarity with ENVI, IDL, ArcGIS or other imagery or GIS software a plus
The pay range for this position in Colorado is $64,000.00- $94,000.00 per year; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
